PKD Gombak

The existence of the Gombak district starting with the formation of Gombak / Petaling following the disintegration of the boundaries of the district of Kuala Lumpur on 1st January 1975, and known as the "Health Office Inland District" in Jalan Young, Kuala Lumpur which is adjacent to the Ministry of Health Malaysia, Jalan Cenderasari before the ministry moved to the Federal Territory of Putrajaya. For ease of administration, the county Health Gombak / Petaling has become 2 separate district health administration in 1985. Since then Gombak District Health Office has been moved from its original office building leased to a 3 storey shop is located at No.13, Jalan SG 1 / 9, Taman sri Gombak. On 19th February 2001, the Office Kesihtan has gained approval to move to a new office building that is leased shop 2 doors, 3 floors to accommodate the increasing number of members who require more extensive work area. Gombak district is divided into four administrative regions, namely Mukim Rawang, Batu, Setapak and Hulu Kelang administered by Local Authorities of the Council of urbanization Selayang (MPS) and the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (the council). The council was established in 1992 and only administer Mukim Hulu Kelang alone, in addition to administering other areas in Hulu Langat District. Gombak district councils were taken over by the SAC, which was established on 1st January 1997 and is responsible for administering the county Rawang, Mukim Batu and Mukim Setapak.
